Ashlee Dubois

I was born and raised as an only child in New Hampshire, and for those of you who have no idea where that is, I lived 45 minutes north of Boston, MA. So yes, I am a die hard Boston sports fan and will be for all of my life. So I love the Patriots and Tom Brady, The Boston Bruins and David Pastrnak, and of course the Red Sox, and the Celtics. When I went to high school I finally found out that I wanted to be some type of doctor. I can thank the show Grey's Anatomy for that one. In my junior and senior year, I took a class called Health Science Technology. I learned about all the body systems, and in my final semester of senior year we studied to become EMT's. I got to shadow on an ambulance for 8 hours, and 8 hours in the ER. I loved it and want to keep shadowing. I am still working on studying to take my national exam to one day become an EMT so that I can work to get some experience before going to grad school. So on my college search i was looking for the perfect school. I finally found the place I wanted to call home and that was High Point University. A whole thirteen and a half hours away from my hometown. I was scared but excited to finally start my journey to becoming a doctor, but more specifically a Physicians Assistant. I am majoring in Biology on a Pre-PA Track and am excited to go through college and to one day go to PA school. I will update this page with blog posts and even add to the about me page as my college career goes by.
