Getting to Know Team Panther!

My name is Ashlee Dubois and I am from Manchester New Hampshire. I attend High Point University as a freshman and am majoring in biology on a pre-physicians assistant track. I have two dogs back at home that I miss dearly because I am an only child so they are like my siblings. I played soccer all my life but will not be continuing competitively in college. I was in class office all four years of high school as our class treasurer. My hobbies include hanging out with my friends and going shopping. Another hobby would be watching TV and Netflix because I love binging on shows. When I get bored or I am stressed out, I play the game Candy Crush and am currently on level 323. In college I hope to join Greek life and be involved in big brothers big sisters club. If I could have one superpower, I would like to be invisible. I would use that to prank/scare people and get out of situations that I don’t want to be in. Here is bios of all four of my group mates.

This is Amirah and she is from Upper Marlboro, Maryland. Her major is Sociology and Anthropology with a minor in French. In her free time, she enjoys playing soccer, hanging out with friends, and watching Netflix. Her family is very diverse. she is mixed with Black, White and Filipino. She is the second youngest in her blended family and she also has a Yorkie named Jolie. At her high school, she played Varsity Soccer and was involved in many different clubs including a club that she was President of named Onyx. If she could have any superpower, she would like to read minds just because she thinks it would be cool to know what other people are thinking.

This is Amanda Rogers and she grew up in a small town in central New Jersey. She is a freshman at High Point University and is an Event Management major with a minor in Psychology.she's an only child, and has a shih tzu who is now 11 years old. she played lacrosse and field hockey for about 8 years, and worked in a restaurant for over a year. In her free time she loves to go to the beach, go shopping, and spend times with her friends and family. If she could have one superpower it would be to be invisible because it would be funny to pull pranks on people.

This is Andrea Mannarino and she is from Chappaqua, New York. She is a first year student at High Point University majoring in psychology with a double minor in communications and sociology. Back in Chicago, Illinois are her parents, her two younger brothers, her younger sister and her two dogs, all of which she misses immensely. Her hobbies include doing makeup, community service outreach, cooking, going to the beach, hanging out with friends and watching lots of tv, especially the Bachelor series and Family Feud. If she could have a superpower it would be teleportation, so I could travel wherever, whenever.

MyKayla was born and raised in a small town called Erwin, North Carolina. She is 18 years of age and the second to youngest out of seven children. She attended Triton High School where she became a 2018 graduate. She graduated with honors such as NC Scholar and Beta Club. She was the Battalion Commander in JROTC, a co-captain on the Soccer and Cheer team.

​Now she is starting a new journey at High Point University where she is a freshman studying Neuroscience. A hobby would be soccer, she loves soccer!!! She could play all day if she had the chance. Another hobby would be making people laugh or smile because it takes just one person to change someone’s attitude, day, or life (be a positive influence). A superpower she would like to gain would be telepathy, if people actually believe in someone seeing into the future I would make bank.
